Four Leaf is a fictional 80s cover band I created and designed a web site as my final project for my web design class. Its goal is to sustain 80s culture by modernizing/recreating the music of that era. I named the band Four Leaf to represent the four leaves of a lucky clover.
For this project, I designed the logo and website prototype for a fictional 80s cover band, Four Leaf. First, I searched on DaFont for an interesting font that would make this band stand out as well as allow me to brainstorm ideas for the style I wanted to create for the Four Leaf brand. I used this unique font I found called IVAN and then in Adobe Illustrator I created a vector graphic of a “clover” but in a very sharp and non-organic style that mimicked the font to keep the consistency. After I created the logo, I used Figma to make a prototype for the band’s website. It took me a while to figure out a color scheme because I kept trying to incorporate green into the design, but eventually I just scrapped that idea and went with a minimalist black and white. I searched for an 80s graphic that I liked, experimented with fonts, and formatted them all together. I created two prototypes: a desktop and mobile version. Finally, I downloaded Adobe Photoshop mockup templates and used them to display my mobile desktop site.
